The Whole Life Carbon Assessors (WLCA) Register has been launched by CIBSE Certification, to recognise competence in assessing carbon and reducing whole life carbon in buildings.
It will be a central hub for professionals verified in whole life carbon assessment, offering professional credibility, technical support and industry recognition.
The initiative builds on the established WLCA Training Programmes. Once participants pass the assessment based on Rics WLCA Standard 2nd Edition methodology, they may apply to be on the register.
Other benefits of being registered include access to technical support and industry experts, marketing toolkits and a listing on CIBSE’s website.
