A new series of online talks, titled Building Voices, has been launched by Women in Building Services
Engineering (WiBSE).
Designed to inspire, connect and empower women across the industry, the talks will encourage open
conversations with the people shaping our profession, and provide advice for others on navigating careers.
Covering a broad range of themes, from volunteering to leadership, the talks will be around 10-15 minutes long.
The schedule for the new series is:
- 9 September, 12.30-12.45: A day in the life – Jessica Glynn, associate director, Atelier Ten
- 23 September: Why you should volunteer – Skyler Ward, building services engineering degree apprentice, Hoare Lea
- 7 October: Non-linear careers – Rachael Gilbert, mechanical engineer, Troup Bywaters + Anders
- 21 October: Finding your people – Apeksha Mohan, energy and sustainability engineer, KJ Tait.
