Priva’s Cybersecurity Drop-in offers visitors a simple Cyber Consultation designed to support anyone who is unsure about which cybersecurity responsibilities affect their organisation, which legislation and standards may be relevant to them, or whether their existing BMS hardware and systems are adequately prepared for current and emerging requirements.
The Drop-in welcomes conversations with anyone concerned about cybersecurity, including building owners, operators, facilities managers, BMS professionals and integrators who are unsure:
- Which cybersecurity responsibilities impact their organisation
- Which legislation and standards may be relevant to their systems
- Whether their existing BMS hardware and configuration are adequately prepared for current and emerging cybersecurity requirements
Tighter legislation & standards
Priva’s Cybersecurity Drop-in responds to increased demand for information and answers about new and stricter requirements relating to the security of building networks and devices. Legislation and standards including NIS2, IEC 62443 and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) are changing expectations around the security of connected systems.
These changes sit alongside increased emphasis from organisations on the resilience of the operational technology and systems on which their buildings depend.
The Drop-in will clarify responsibilities and provide a practical reference for customers and partners as they assess their own cybersecurity requirements. It will be of value to those responsible for BMS systems in critical sectors, including data centres, hospitals, energy facilities, water infrastructure and transport infrastructure, where organisations may be within the scope of the NIS2 Directive.
Visitors will be able to discuss their specific situation with Priva’s cybersecurity specialists and gain a clearer understanding of the questions they should be asking about their systems, responsibilities and routes to compliance.
