Ten mentors have been recruited and trained as part of the pilot CIBSE mentoring scheme, launched last November.
The scheme focuses on those looking to progress to CIBSE’s corporate membership grades and professional registration.
The 10 mentors – all CIBSE Fellows – have been matched with 15 mentees selected from small firms that currently have no support from a CIBSE-accredited training and development scheme.
CIBSE intends to roll out mentoring on a larger scale in 2017, after evaluation of the pilot.
