This course will help attendees understand and meet the requirements of principal designer and principal contractor. It will provide an overview of the regulatory framework, and an understanding of the principal roles with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations and Building Safety Act legislation.
The course will explain how individuals can demonstrate competence and assess other’s competence, and how this applies to higher-risk buildings as defined by the Building Safety Act.
Attendees will discuss and debate the new principal roles in real examples, to help them apply their knowledge to their own organisations.
