Outstanding building services engineering students in the Hong Kong Region were recognised at the Hong Kong Student Awards in March.
The awards recognise students who have demonstrated academic excellence and the potential to contribute meaningfully to the profession.
They were organised by the Hong Kong Region and presented at its recent Annual Dinner.
Tertiary institutions in the region were invited to nominate one full-time student from each of the following categories: postgraduate degree;
Bachelor’s degree; sub-degree (associate or higher diploma).
Nominees were put forward on the basis of their achievements in academic performance, participation in CIBSE or other professional institution events, and extracurricular activities and community service. Six nominations from five institutions were received.
CIBSE Hong Kong chair 2025-26 Ethan Poon said: ‘It is inspiring to see the dedication and commitment these students are bringing to the start of their professional journeys.
