The opening sessions of CIBSE’s Build2Perform Live have been announced: Building safety reform; and Delivering projects and efficiency using digital tools.
Building safety reform: this session will explain the role of the new Building Safety Regulator and the changes in culture, competence and working practices that the Building Safety Bill will demand.
Delivering projects and efficiency using digital tools: this session will offer practical knowledge about standardised project delivery tools for concept design, including examples of digitising a common design task – cable containment sizing.
It will demonstrate ideas for digitising typical day-to-day processes to make them faster.
Other themes include: net-zero carbon; health, wellbeing and safety; climate adaptation; circular economy; and smart buildings.
