The Annual Australia and New Zealand Young Engineers Awards will take place on 22 October in Sydney.
The Awards night celebrates the emerging thought leaders in the building services industry, together with the people and organisations that support them.
There are five awards up for grabs:
- Mark Griffin Award – Student of the Year
- Haris Moraitis Award – Graduate of the Year
- Jack Pirie Award – Young Engineer of the Year
- Jeff Robinson Award – Engineering Advocate of the Year
- Graduate Development Program of the Year
Members and guests are invited to come together to support all those shortlisted, recognise outstanding young engineering talent and celebrate and network with those working across the industry in the region.
The theme of this year’s event is Circular economy- paying it forward for the future generation, and guest speaker Guest speaker Harriet Smith, manager for Responsible Products & Materials at the Green Building Council of Australia will explore what circularity looks like in practice for the built environment, and how the decisions we make today can shape more sustainable outcomes for years to come.
