A new publication establishing a benchmark in performance-based drainage design for tall buildings has been published by CIBSE.
TM70: Tall buildings drainage design addresses the unique challenges to drainage that are presented by tall buildings, which often lie outside of standard guidelines, by offering robust, evidence-based framework for designing drainage systems in tall buildings.
Developed in collaboration with the Society of Public Health Engineers (SoPHE) Technical Committee, academic researchers, professional engineers and industry partners, the guide translates full-scale experimental testing and validated transient-flow simulations into practical guidance for real-world application.
