Speakers have been announced for CIBSE Journal Live event, taking place on 2 December.
CIBSE Journal Live, in association with Autodesk, is a new virtual event brought to you by the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE).
Jon Belfield, Chair of CIBSE AI Working Group, and Volkan Doda, CIBSE Engineer of the Year 2025, are confirmed for the session:Introduction to AI in Building Services – why every engineer needs to use AI
The session, AI in Practice – an overview of AI offerings being used in practice, will be presented by Martha Tsigkari, Senior Partner and Head of the Applied R+D (ARD) group at Foster + Partners
Mike Darby, CEO of Demand Logic, will present the session: Optimising HVAC and energy efficiency with AI and predictive maintenance and fault detection
Michael Beaven, Arup, will present Designing for AI: The future of building services
And May Winfield, Global Director of Commercial, Legal and Digital Risks, Buro Happold, will present the AI risks and liability session.
