NEWS | DIGEST HM Queen Elizabeth II The Board of Trustees, members and the staff of the Institution were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. CIBSE sends its condolences to all members of the royal family. CIBSE received its Royal Charter from the Queen in 1986. One of the last laws to be given Royal Assent during her reign was the Building Safety Act.
